Mary Ellen Gordon, Ph.D.

In addition to being Managing Director of Market Truths, Mary Ellen has taught business courses for Canterbury, Waikato, and Cardean universities and also for Ellis College and EducasiaExt. Prior to founding Market Truths, she was a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the University of CanterburyExt.

She has held marketing positions with Coca-Cola and Serono Laboratories in the United States and has conducted proprietary market research for a wide variety of organizations in the United States, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand. Her academic research has been published in textbooks and peer-reviewed journals including Psychology and Marketing, the Journal of Public Policy and Marketing, Managerial Issues, the Journal of Marketing Education, and the Journal of Interactive Marketing. Mary Ellen has also presented at a variety of academic and industry conferences.

Mary Ellen’s Bachelors and M.B.A. degrees (both in marketing and both with Honors) are from Babson CollegeExt in Wellesley Massachusetts and her Ph.D. is from the University of MassachusettsExt at Amherst. She is a member of the American Marketing AssociationExt, the Marketing Research AssociationExt (with Expert Professional Researcher CertificationExt), and of MensaExt.
